kaleb had his 2nd month visit tuesday and the doc says he looks perfect! At 13 pounds 6 ounces he is growing like a weed and is in the 75th percentile for length and 80th percentile for weight. He was so happy reading books with mommy in the office until he got stuck with 4 needles and has an american flag and a dirt bike bandaid to prove it! Poor little guy! This week we have gotten him on a schedule and he is napping daily at 9am, 1pm, and 5pm until bedtime at 9pm. It's adorable because he knows it's naptime when I lay him down and rub his head and face and he'll yawn and fall right to sleep. He has continued to smile like crazy and we can't wait to hear his little laugh--he sounds so close sometimes! He LOVES reading with mama and stares at the pictures and kicks his little feet in excitement as I read in different intonations; he pays attention and is engaged through all 3 books I read to him daily. His favorite is "I already know I love you." He loves seeing his face in the mirror on his playmat and will stare at himself in amazement then flash his handsome grin showing off his dimples! I caught the tail end of a smiling frenzy on camera ♥ he loves his daddy!

You're Mommy is an incredible writer, Kaleb, and I am so happy to share in your life through her words. Just like your Mommy was, you are a beautiful baby!!! I can't wait to visit Arkansas to meet you in person and hold you in my arms. We hope someday you will see Michigan, too, where your Grandparents were born. We have a million hugs and kisses waiting just for you!!!
