Lauren tagged me!

I've been "tagged" by lauren and am supposed to give three random facts. Here goes:

1. I cry over anything! I am the biggest sap out there. Commercials, movies, songs, holding kaleb in my arms, missing my sister...pathetic thing is, the movies and songs aren't necessarily sad...they can be joyful and I'll cry even harder at the precious moments in life! This is just one of my many idiosyncrasies which has gotten WORSE as I've grown up. Derek and I were watching a teeny bopper movie, Sydney White, with Amanda Bynes which is a FUNNY movie about a college girl who doesn't make it into a sorority because of the president's jealousy. But she finds her own "sorority" of sorts, made up of intellects and video gaming geeks and gives a speech in front of her school about how there is a bit of "geekiness" in all of us and there is a solidarity there insofar as we grab hold of our geeky side and revel in it. Well I started tearing up during her speech!

2. I CANNOT STAND bent pages on books and REFUSED to save money in college by buying used books. I would only purchase new books with fresh, crisp pages and took great pleasure in the fact that I was the first to highlight those pages and draw knowledge from those pages which would never be bent if I had anything to do with it! I could also spend an hour picking out books because I had to have the best looking new book from the new book pile. I would also jot notes down quickly in class so as not to miss anything then go home and write down the notes in my "real" notebook as neatly as possible so I could study better. There's nothing worse than studying from a messy notebook. But if I wrote the date too messy, I'd rip the page out and start anew--you can't be messy right out of the gate.

3. I'm a pretty funny girl...I run the gamut...I research bioethethical issues and apologetics issues at work then I come home and watch DISNEY CHANNEL!! the suite life of zac and cody is my favorite! I'm actually researching to make sure Disney programs are of good quality for Kaleb to watch when he gets older =))
