on the drive up
We had such a great time visiting Tom, Syd, and BEAUTIFUL baby Stella in Fayetteville! The drive up was beautiful and it was so great spending time with Lauren and Riley! I was in LOVE with the Yaz's home and nursery! Unfortunately, poor Kaleb was quite uncomfortable and I just hate those weekends when you know something is wrong but have to wait it out to see. He didn't go down for bed until 10 pm and was miserable all the way up until he went down. By church Sunday morning, Kaleb hadn't had a messy diaper in close to 36 hours! Constipation is a bugger! After prune-apple baby food and LOTS of juice on sunday he finally went RIGHT before bedtime--48 hours of constipation!!--and it was HILARIOUS! His face was so red I have never seen a baby fight so hard =) He played happily until bedtime with his favorite toy...mama's swiffer!!! he wouldn't let go so I toted a baby who toted a swiffer all around the house =) Thanks for having us in your home, Tom, Syd & Stella, and for your hospitality even though you were a tad sleep deprived! We love you and can't wait to see you soon!
